This weekend was held a First event of World cups in Augsburg. Many people traveled there from all around the World. We come here in Sunday morning and started to train. The waschemaschine is quite difficult playspot so everyone was trying to get used to it in these few days. We trained twice a day but after three day we reduce it just for once a day because we were quite tired. The competition started at Saturday. After prelimes I ended up first with my phoenix monkeys and Peter third. At the evening mens had quarterfinals and after them was woman semifinals. Peter won quarterfinal with 200 points difference. Our semifinals started quite late so I sat on the water at 9.30pm. It wasn’t very comfortable to paddle in dark and in storm. I didn’t feel good so I wasn’t satisfied with my rides. But luckily I ended up 4th so I got in to finals. Sunday morning was on plan mens semifinals and all the finals. Peter got in to the finals also with our team mate Mat Dumoulin. Finals were very exciting. K1JW won Sandrina the german girl. K1JM won Dane Jackson USA. C1 won our team mate Markus Hummel. I was quite in stress during my finals. My first ride wasn’t really good so I wanted to improve my score in my second ride. Unfortunately it went even worse and I lose my leading position. The third ride was the last option. I started with loop and cartwheels than I went for mac nasty and made it. I was very happy to stick it. Than I made felix and some other moves. I didn’t know what I will get scored but I was very happy with my ride. The prize giving ceremony was right after each finals. I won the First world cup and took home gold medal. I was really happy but I wasn’t over because mens finals was on the turn. Peter had very good his first ride. I tough he can win but on the end he ended up second which is also really nice result. So 1st place took James Bebington UK and secon was Peter and third ended Mat. All these guys competed on composited boats. I also won on my new Vajda Stealth carbon boat. I think this was very big advantage for us. Now we are in the Plattling and preparing for second World Cup. Hope it will go well too.

We picked up my new boat right from factory at Saturday morning and headed to Augsburg. I was so excited to try it so we stopped in Plattling. It was quite late but I needed to test it. After fixing all the things I sit to my brand new boat for first time and jumped to the hole. I was super nice surprised how good it is and I didn’t have any problems to get use to it
For the end of the week we had a plan to train in Plattling and Augsburg. We wanted to have just a small practice before the World cup will start. We wanted to leave Friday morning but I was a bit lazy and also a bit tired so we decided to stay in Slovakia. We change the plan went to our white water course in Cunovo where are also good options to have nice trainings

First Alpin Cup in Graz
This weekend was in Graz first event from series of Alpin Cups. Me and Peter we traveled to Graz in Wednesday to train. The forecast wasn’t very optimistic for these few days but we were praying for nice warm sunny weekend. When we came water level was higher and playspot was more like wave-hole
